Frequently Asked Questions
FDUSD testnet tokens are designed for development work within the First Digital Labs and Finance District ecosystem. You can use them to:
- Test mint, burn, and transfer flows
- Integrate with Finance District or SmartcoinOS APIs
- Validate wallet, dApp, or backend logic
- Run QA cycles or automation scripts
These tokens exist only on testnets and carry no real-world value.
A testnet is a development-friendly version of a blockchain network. It functions like mainnet but uses valueless tokens, allowing you to explore and troubleshoot without risking real funds. Developers use testnets to simulate transactions and test features before moving to production. Faucets provide free test tokens for this purpose.
Our faucet currently provides FDUSD on the following EVM-compatible testnets:
- Ethereum Sepolia
- Base Sepolia
- Arbitrum Sepolia
We plan to support more environments as Finance District expands.
Each wallet is allowed to claim 1 FDUSD per hour on each supported network. For use cases that require higher volumes—such as load testing or automated integration tests—reach out to the Finance District team via Discord.
This message indicates that you’ve reached the hourly claim limit. Just wait until the cooldown resets (one hour) before requesting more tokens. This results in up to:
- 24 FDUSD per 24 hours per address per chain
Use this faucet whenever you’re building or testing something related to the Finance District. For example:
- You’re prototyping or debugging features that involve FDUSD
- You’re preparing your system for integration with Finance District tools
- You need realistic test flows to validate your user journeys
- You’re preparing a deployment or running final checks before mainnet
We plan to support more environments as Finance District expands.
